Colonie Hills is good for the Town of Colonie and good for Albany County. Providing affordable housing for seniors, working families, veterans and individuals with special needs is both a business and moral imperative. In fact, this project aligns with the priorities identified in the Albany County 2008-2013 Consolidated Plan.

The project will be environmentally friendly, fully compliant with Green Building and Energy Efficiency initiatives, and seek to participate in NYSERDA and LEED programs.

As one of the region’s largest construction projects, Colonie Hills would also provide significant economic benefits, supporting more than 100 construction jobs and increasing the customer base for town businesses.
