Supporters of the Colonie Hills project gathered at Town Hall on July 9 and July 23 to express their support for the proposed project.
Colonie Hills seeks to provide affordable housing for seniors, working families, veterans and individuals with special needs. The project was very close to becoming a reality until January 2015 when the Town Board voted suddenly to remove the Planned Development District zoning on the 38-acre parcel of land identified for the proposed project.
